I broke my tag! What do I do?

We might be jinxing ourselves saying this has yet to happen, but we pride ourselves on our ability to repair our tags to avoid sending them to landfill. One of the coolest aspects of our injection moulding process is that we can take your broken tag, clean it, shred and remould it. Making you a 'new' tag out of your old one. Even if your tag is somehow in pieces, we can fix that! Check out our Remould Program Tab to get more information.

Where does your plastic come from?

We try to collect any plastic that we come across that will work, as well as partnering with different organizations including schools, youth groups, and businesses to give their plastics a second life.

For a list of cities where have gathered plastics check out our Plastic Collection Tab.

I have plastic, can you make something out of it?

We can only use clean plastics in Type 5. If you or your group have plastic you'd like to see turned into something useful please feel free to reach out to us via our Contact Page to see if we can make it work!

Do you do custom luggage tags?

We certainly have the capacity to make custom tags, although it means creating new moulds which can be an additional expense. If you have a project you want to discuss please reach out via our Contact Page and we'd be more than happy to chat about it. And don't forget, we always offer custom engraving on all tags.

Avenir Light is a clean and stylish font favored by designers. It's easy on the eyes and a great go-to font for titles, paragraphs & more.

Can you visit our organization to give a demonstration?

We have had the absolute pleasure of giving a few presentations explaining the pollution problems associated with plastic, as well as possible solutions. We can cater these chats to any age group and interest level. No guarantees of course but if you are interested in having an informational session please contact us via the Contact Tab and we'd be happy to chat about it.

What kind of plastic are the tags made of?

All of our tags are made out of Type 5 plastics.

What product was my luggage tag in its first life?

Can I place a bulk order?

Can my tag be recycled?

Where do the donations go?

Where are your products made?

Do you make your own products or order them from a supplier?

While we don't discriminate, we've found looking for specific plastics makes things a little bit easier for us. For that reason the majority of our plastics were originally laundry baskets, storage bins or food containers in their first life. Some of the tags are also made of old turtle habitats from the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre, which we think is a really cool connection to one of our donation partners.

Heck Ya you can! Reach out to us via our Contact Tab and we can discuss exactly what you may be looking for!

It can! All of our tags come labelled with what number recyclable they are. Simply remove the stainless steel cord and sort the recyclables accordingly. However, the best thing to do would be to send it back to us for remoulding! Contact Us to learn more!

We have 5 donation partners, one for each shape. To learn about each partner please check out our Donation Partners page under the More Tab. We think they are all fantastic organizations working hard to help Canadian Wildlife.

Our workshop is currently based in Newmarket, Ontario.

Seanna makes every single tag herself: from cleaning and shredding the plastic to injection moulding to laser engraving  and attaching the tag connector. She even boxes them up and ships them out herself. Although we leave the delivery to Canada Post. This is a fully Canadian owned and operated business.

What's the slightly different patterned circle on my tag?

This is the injection port where the plastic is pushed into the mould. You can find one on every object made of plastic. Typically, these are hidden on the bottom of objects where it won't be seen. But since there is no hidden spots on our products we trim them down and then sand them flat. Don't worry, we hold onto the plastic trimmed for future use. Check out the pictures to see the progression from injection to ready for delivery.
